Wishlist Wednesday {July 16th}

Hello!

If you're like me regarding your beauty habits, you probably have a massive list of bookmarked beauty products that you will most likely never purchase.  And you’ll probably fall in love with far too many things that are far out of your budget.  Fortunately for me, my eighteenth birthday is coming up in less than a month so my wishes might actually be granted!  Fingers crossed!

#1.  Ole Henriksen Lemon Strip Flash Peel – I am a major skincare fanatic, especially about resurfacing treatments and serums, always on the lookout for a high concentration acidic masks that won’t dry out my skin and this one has caught my fancy in a big way.  It boasts a 20% AHA concentration and it’s got great reviews so I’m really hoping that I’ll be getting it for my birthday.

#2.  OPI You’re Such a Budapest – My prom was on the 23rd of June (it was great, thanks) and I got my first mani/pedi in ten years.  My dress was a gorgeous royal blue and while I wanted a very neutral colour on my hands I decided on a fun summer colour for my toes.  Now almost a month later, I really want this colour in my collection so I can touch up the chips that are appearing.

#3.  Benefit They’re Real Eye Makeup Remover – I normally rely on either a double face wash or coconut oil to get my makeup off at the end of the day but this does seem like a nice, neat way of doing away with my stubborn make-up.

#4.  Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain Lip ColorTati, one of my favourite Youtuber’s, recently did a video on this product and she really raved about it (you can watch the video here).  Just from the swatches I was hooked, but then I saw how wide the colour range is and now I’m dying to get my hands on them.  However, I will hold off until the autumn/winter season as I tend to wear less lip colour in the summer, generally sticking to tinted lip balm.

#5.  NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder – I used the MUFE HD Setting Powder for a very long time (since I started high school) and it has saved me time and again not just in everyday life, but in performances and for photoshoots.  Recently, I’ve run out of my last container of it and when I was walking around Sephora the other day I noticed this and honestly I just want to try something new.

#6.  Benefit They’re Real Push Up Eyeliner – This is definitely the most hyped up product of the summer and honestly, I’ve tried it quite a few times and I’ve been truly impressed.  However, I don’t really wear eyeliner often in the summer enough to really rationalize the cost.  I might purchase it for the autumn and winter where I tend to go for a more of a vampy, retro look.

#7.  Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Eau de Parfum – I am so obsessed with V&R Flowerbomb to the point that for Christmas four people bought me products from this line, in addition to the rollerball and the travel size ones that I already had.  I also dated a great guy who wore Spicebomb exclusively (yummm :3) which I loved to the point which I sprayed my room with the stuff.  So I’m going to say my love for Viktor & Rolf scents is unrivalled.  This seems like the next step for me, and with my eighteenth birthday coming up in less than a month, I’ve definitely got my eye on this.
